with new year comes new resolutions nd new aspirations!2011 has arrived nd i'm happy to tell you people i've finally decided to quit writing poems after this one!thanx 4 tolerating me 4 d last 8-9 months!
This is my last poem its in Bengali...bt dun worry,u can surely give it a try!
This last poem is again dedicated to Jude!though I've named her Smriti here to give a Bengali touch to my poem!
actually Jude er saathe kotha bola amar jibon e ekta sundor smriti hoye theke jaabe, tai ekhane Jude er naam Smriti.aami eto din Jude k niye j eto hoi holla korlam,aasole Jude konodin e amar jibon e aasini.kintu kichu sesh kotha bolar khub ichee chilo tai ei kobita ta college phirei 1 din raate neshai bibhor hoye likhechilam.keno ki eta notun bochor e likhechilam tai etar naam HAPPY NEW YEAR

Smriti,I'm writing this letter to you
Sitting in a shitty room & its 4:22
Outside its cold;still its really very dark
And my corridor is empty,with no dog now to bark!
Ekhun ichee korche jaante amar,bhabche ki tomar mon
R sudhui ba raagcho kano,aami jaayi kori ekhun!
Tai kaapte kaapte bolchi abar,what that 'Hi' meant to me
R neshar ghor e likhe phelchi,ei sesh poetry
Bhebe bhebeo bujhina aami,why you always hate this
Sudhu jaani etuku ekhun,sob kichui hobe freeze
Dekho Smriti aajke aami:r thakte paarlam na please
Jodio jaani bhalo kore,you don't like all these
Now I'm happy:I'm doing this 'favour' to you
Till now you talked,it's so nice of you
I never wished,to be some 'problem' for you
So,I'm Sorry:I misused the niceness of you!!
Dekho aami jaani,aami chelete boddo mota mushy
Aami sudhu likhe berai,kaabyo aamar jaa khusi
Tobuo Smriti someday again,long down the line
Konodin somoi pele,do read,these poetry of mine
Bodhoi bujhbe tokhun tumi,ei kobita gulo dekhe
Likhechilam sobkichui,ekdum moner bhetor theke
Ichee chilo likhte ekta maane waala gaan
Ichee chilo bolte onek goppo taan taan
Ichee gulo sob bolte gele,whiskey te korte hobe snaan
Neshar saathe joriye jaabe,tokhun sob kichu j aapraan
Tai Smriti aamai aaj,bolte hobe ebar tata
Jaani ei kobitar,chilonai kono maatha
Jawar aage sudhu bole jaai,Oh Smriti Dear!
Just wanted to wish,A Belated Happy New Year!!
